PUM Representative Binh Dinh

As PUM Representative in Binh Dinh, you will be an vital member of the Vietnam country team. This team consists of a country manager and five other representatives across Vietnam. The PUM head office is based in The Hague, Netherlands, with around 50 employees. As representative, you identify potential clients - small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in and around Binh Dinh - you promote PUM's mission, build trust with entrepreneurs and local partners, and act as the first point of contact for our clients. Your strength in acquisition and networking will be key to expanding PUM’s reach and creating lasting impact. You're not just a PUM representative, you are an ambassador!

What you'll Do  

• Acquire new clients: SMEs that align with PUM’s mission.

• Build and maintain networks with key stakeholders, including business clubs, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

• Partner with entrepreneurs as they pursue sustainable and inclusive business growth.

• Coordinate collaboration between entrepreneurs and PUM’s experts to ensure smooth project implementations.

• Deliver a minimum of 10 successful projects per year.  

This is a flexible part-time role, offered on an independent contractor basis. As such, this role is not designed to serve as a primary source of income, but rather as a part-time or supplementary engagement alongside other work or income sources. The expected commitment is approximately 12-16 hours per week. You will receive a monthly basic remuneration of €100 to cover your local travel, communication, and basic operational costs. In addition, you’ll receive a result-based remuneration of €400 per successful project. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, social security contributions, insurance and any other statutory obligations that apply in your country of residence. Reference checks and a declaration of good conduct are part of the selection process.

Who are you?  

• Well-connected across local SMEs, agricultural organisations, cooperatives, business associations, institutions, and local stakeholders in Binh Dinh and surrounding central regions such as Phu Yen, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Kon Tum.

• You have a professional background in education, agriculture, agribusiness, rural development, or a related field.

• Experienced, with at least 10 years of proven success in building and maintaining customer relationships, including strong acquisition and project management skills.  

• Deeply knowledgeable about the socio-economic context, language, and culture of the region and Vietnam.

• Sensitive to local communication styles and relationship-building practices, with the ability to navigate different stakeholder groups.

• Strong interview and listening skills to uncover clients’ true needs and translate them into opportunities.  

• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent communication skills.  

• Available for approximately 12-16 hours per week, spread across multiple days. 

• Confident in using digital tools, particularly Microsoft 365.
